Yin Yoga Workshop with Annette
Yin Yoga is a naturally contemplative practice that offers a perfect complement to other more dynamic forms of Yoga or physical workouts.
While most forms of exercise train our muscles and cardiovascular system, Yin Yoga targets what is left out: our ligaments, joints, bones, and fascia – those parts of our body which deteriorate through over-use and degenerate through aging and sedentary live-styles.
In Yin Yoga we hold poses with the muscles relaxed for long periods of time and effect passive stretches and therapeutic ‘stresses’ on precisely those body-tissues.
Yin Yoga helps to:
- Decompress the spine, open the pelvis, and spur gentle releases in the fascia
- Stimulate and harmonize the flow of Chi (or Prana) through your entire body
- Increase the production of Hyaluronic Acid (keeps joints young & lubricated)
- Enhance mindfulness, mental-emotional integration, and deep relaxation |

The Free Heart
As human beings living in a conditional world, we tend to look outside of ourselves for perfect love, freedom, and peace. Guided by Annette Knopp, we use meditative inquiry, experiential exercises, and deep communion to rediscover the natural love, clarity, and space that is already present at the core of our being. As we discover our free heart, we make peace with all aspects of reality and let go into “present-moment-openness” and authentic connection with others.
Join Annette and Omega’s renowned faculty for a weeklong Winter Learning Vacation. During your week at Blue Spirit you may start your day with optional Yoga, Chi Gong, or swimming and walking along a 3 miles long white sanded beach. After breakfast create your own program by choosing a workshop with the teachers of your choice. Topics include Yoga, Meditation, Shamanism, Wellness, Psycho-Spiritual Integration, and Intimate Relationships. Spend the week sampling or focus on a few teachers. During your free time, choose one of the many activities like Surfing, Canopy Zip line Tour, Silent Boat Tour & Birdwatching, Horseback riding, and more. With the setting sun begins an evening of music, dance, or a special workshop. |
Package Price per person to be announced soon.
